Sequence

The painting evening series consists of 4 sessions.

Session 1: Basics & first motif (1.5 hours)

Introduction to materials, colors & techniques; How water, paint and paper work together; Short warm-up exercises; Your first landscape motif (yes, you'll start painting right away!)

Sessions 2–4: In-depth study (1.5 hours each)

Repetition and minor technique refinement; new motifs each time, adapted to the season; several small paintings per evening; space to experiment, ask questions, and paint together.

If you have already participated in the painting evening series, you can decide at the first session what feels right for you: whether you would like to paint the basics again – or whether you would like to start your own small motif and I will guide you individually.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

No. The course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. We'll start together with simple techniques and progress step by step.

Do I need to bring any materials?

After registering, you'll receive a brief information sheet about materials. If you don't already own anything, you'll receive recommendations for good, beginner-friendly materials – without having to buy much.

What happens if I miss an appointment?

You will receive an overview of the evening's themes and exercises so that you can continue practicing at home.

Can I take the course multiple times?

Yes, absolutely! The designs change regularly, and at the first appointment you can either review the basics or start your own small design right away.

How big is the group?

Maximum 8 participants. This keeps the atmosphere relaxed and personal, and allows enough time for individual support.

What exactly are we painting?

Light, semi-abstract watercolor landscapes – small motifs that are easy to create from the start and that you can take home with you.
